THE ROUX TRUTHS
We are always growing, ever evolving and constantly seeking new ways to become better. No matter how much we embrace change though, some things will always remain the same.
We believe in purposeful creativity.
We don’t limit creativity to a department, a timeframe or even specific people. Creativity is at the center of everything we do—whether that means coming up with a unique strategy to make a client even more successful, approaching a logistical challenge from an innovative angle, or seeking out fresh ways to push ourselves to keep learning and growing. Along with this open-minded thinking comes serious responsibility. Because we don’t just create art for art’s sake. We create it for our clients’ sake. Every idea, every design, every single word is backed by solid rationale, proven processes and a company-wide dedication to doing great work for even greater reasons.
We choose clients we believe in.
We’re big on long-term relationships, which is why we don’t take our partnerships lightly. It’s also why we’re deliberate about getting to know our clients and every aspect of their businesses. Besides leading to smart, super-effective work on individual projects, this whole-picture approach helps us make sure every move we make ties into the greater good of the company. It also gives us a sense of ownership in our clients, which often leads to extra insights and thinking on a much larger and more powerful scale. Obviously, this approach only works with clients we respect and trust, and who feel the same about us. Because the best way to do great work is with people you love working with.
We believe our community is bigger than us.
We’re a tight-knit team who reaches beyond our walls and continues to grow every day. After all, when you give someone your time, they become part of your community too. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned it’s that you can never have too many connections. That’s why we believe the best way to do business (and life) is with open hands and a helpful heart. From working with area nonprofits to help feed neighbors in need, to mentoring up-and-coming professionals, to simply sharing insights with fellow entrepreneurs who are starting up their own local businesses, we believe in taking care of our own—no matter where or how many they may be.
