Thanksgiving is a wonderful opportunity to practice gratitude for all that we’ve been blessed with in the past year. As the year wraps up, we are reminded of all the goodness we have experienced in 2021, particularly as life returns to more familiar patterns, and we are able to meet with our clients and spend time with loved ones in person.
We asked our croux to share what’s on their hearts this Thanksgiving. See what they had to say below!
“I am so thankful for this time of year as we intentionally pause to remind ourselves and each other of all our blessings. And of course in roux style, so thankful for the food and the hands that prepare it.”
“This year, I'm especially thankful for the health of my family, quality time with loved ones, my wild kids and their uninhibited laughter, and of course, my roux croux who is always quick to offer encouragement or a helping hand.”
“I am grateful that my extended family is able to gather for our traditional Thanksgiving Day celebration. We will share food, laughs and probably a few tears as we spend the day together eating, watching football and catching up IN PERSON! There is one special young lady that won't be with us on Thanksgiving Day because she has to work (she is a nurse). However, there is still reason to be grateful as she has moved back home to Tennessee and is continuing to pursue her dreams. My heart is so happy!”
“I'm beyond grateful for my littlest blessing, Amos, who joined our family in July of this year. He will be four months come Thanksgiving and is growing healthy and strong. It's our first Thanksgiving as a family of three and we're excited for the new traditions and memories we'll share this holiday season. We also feel very thankful for our community—family, friends, small group, co-workers—the people around us who encouraged us through our adoption journey and continue to support us during life with a baby. They say it takes a village, and they're right!”
Lianna is out of the office spending time with her loved ones after welcoming a sweet new baby to their family. We know she’s feeling extra grateful for good health and quality time with family this holiday season!
We’re also grateful for you, our creative community, and we wish you a blessed Thanksgiving! Feel free to share your own moments of gratitude in the comments below.
